My purpose for replacing the window is that it leaks periodically, without a constant pattern, and runs down the wall to my hardwood flooring. The technician stated the defective leveling seems to be the rationale, and beneficial that the contractor use either waterproof concrete or waterproof mortar to stage the brick window body earlier than putting in the window. I subsequently learned that the shop I bought the replacement window from contracts with window installers, however not with contractors that level brick window frames. My two questions are 1) should waterproof cement, or waterproof mortar, be used?
